The Boyd Midwest Family Private Foundation is excited to announce scholarship selection results for the 2023-2024 school year, the third year we have awarded scholarships.
We received 22 first-time scholarship applications this year, from ten different states: Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, California, Arizona, and South Carolina. Awardees and scholarship amount were determined by a three-member selection committee consisting of qualified and independent, non-MFM individuals.
The applicants included future architects, doctors, teachers, therapists, business executives and more. Six candidates truly stood out utilizing the Foundation’s selection criteria: financial need, involvement in school, work and volunteerism, and the desire to also contribute to their education. We are very excited about their future, the impact they will make, and the fact that the Boyd Midwest Private Foundation played a role by fostering their goals and dreams!
Congratulations to all applicants who were awarded a 2023-2024 scholarship…..for the first time or as a renewal.
